The M2A4 light tank was born out of the need for a more mobile and agile vehicle that could support infantry operations during World War II. Designed by the American company, Rock Island Arsenal, the M2A4 was equipped with a powerful 37mm gun and a 4-cylinder gasoline engine that allowed it to reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.
